About

David McWilliam is an attorney practicing in Fort Mill, South Carolina. His legal practice includes divorce law and family law. David is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERâ„¢ practitioner, providing his clients with financial planning knowledge throughout the legal process.

Originally from Nova Scotia, Canada, David moved to Greenville, South Carolina with his family as a child. He received his undergraduate degrees from The College of Charleston, and graduated from The University of South Carolina School of Law.

Having previously worked in the private sector for a financial planning company helping clients with estate planning and financial organization, David is uniquely equipped to help you with your family law issues as a CFP® professional, no matter how simple or complex your case may be. As family law cases often affect your assets and estate, David will be a knowledgeable advocate on your side. 

David has done work in family law, criminal defense, wills, trusts and estates, real estate, and patents. His office is conveniently located off Interstate 77 at the corner of Pleasant Road and Highway 460 in Fort Mill, and he serves clients all over the state of South Carolina.​

Patricia M. Lee

About

Patricia Lee is an attorney practicing in Fort Mill, South Carolina. During the course of her career, Patricia has done work in family law, criminal defense, personal injury, social security disability claims, real estate, contract drafting, and LLC planning.

 

Patricia is originally from Nova Scotia, Canada, but moved to Greenville, South Carolina with her family as a child. She received her undergraduate degree from The College of Charleston, and graduated from The University of South Carolina School of Law.


Patricia has previously worked as an associate in Anderson, SC and was a law professor in South Korea teaching American law, tort law, constitutional law, contract law and contract drafting. She has personal experience in the immigration process and training as a guardian ad litem. ​​

Brandy Roche

Paralegal

About

Brandy Roche is a paralegal at the Law Office of David J. McWilliam. She is originally from Richmond, Virginia but moved to Charlotte, NC in 2003. She then relocated to Rock Hill, SC in 2010. Brandy is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree online at Liberty University.

 

Brandy is married to her husband Jeff and is mother to 5 true miracles. She is an avid camper and enjoys volunteer work with the Junior Welfare League of York County.

 

With a love for working with people and a heart for service, Brandy enjoys helping clients and always providing exceptional work with a smile.

Thornley McWilliam

Paralegal

About

Thornley McWilliam is a paralegal at the Law Office of David J. McWilliam. Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, she lived in Oklahoma City, OK for a few years before moving to South Carolina in 2004. She has happily called Fort Mill home since 2011. Thornley received her bachelor's degree from the College of Charleston in Classics.

 

Thornley shares four wonderful children and a goofy French bulldog with her husband, David. A running enthusiast at heart, she also enjoys reading, knitting, and watching football in her spare time.

 

Within her role as paralegal, Thornley enjoys connecting with the clients she serves and focusing on ways to elevate the client experience by efficiently managing the details of a case from start to finish.
